Talo
Your second brain for every project.
Each project's own memory, meetings with local notes, documents, tasks and the people you work with, with Claude Code and Codex agents. Local-first: nothing leaves your Mac except what you choose to share in a chat.

What it does
What already ships in the beta, tested in a real build signed and notarized by Apple — not a roadmap.
Projects
Every project lives in its own folder, with a brief, a TALO.md context file and a file explorer.
Meetings
Recording with an explicit heads-up, local transcription, and notes where every claim links back to the exact source sentence.
Memory with citations
Talo indexes the project's files and conversations; any answer that uses memory cites where it came from, and you can confirm or forget it.
People
A per-project directory of the people you work with, with a three-layer profile and no data mixed across projects.
Documents and whiteboard
An editor with Mermaid diagrams and a whiteboard with draft recovery; "Review with Talo" sends any view to the agent with your comments.
Tasks and automations
TABLERO.md boards compatible with the Obsidian Kanban plugin, and automations that run on an isolated copy of the project and wait for your review.
Who it's for
You run several projects at once
Freelancers, agencies, salespeople or project managers with three or four initiatives open at once, each in its own folder, with no context mixed between them.
You coordinate a team
Each person works on their own Mac with their own projects, boards and automations; the team shares deliverables through cloud folders with "Publish". Sharing directly between Talo users isn't available yet.
Privacy: local-first
Talo keeps your work on your Mac. A conversation with Claude Code or Codex can send the provider your message, attachments and whatever project context you choose to share; editing a document, a diagram or the whiteboard never contacts an agent by itself. Installing a skill, adding an MCP connector or publishing to a cloud folder are always actions you decide, each with its own confirmation.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to know how to code to use Talo?
No. You write what you need in plain language and the agent produces documents, boards or other deliverables inside your project.
Does data mix between my projects?
Not by default. Talo keeps memory, instructions and conversations separated by project; cross-project lookups require your explicit consent.
Can an automation ever run without my review?
No. It starts paused, runs on a copy of the project, and changes stay "pending review" until you open the diff and press Apply.
Can I use Talo offline?
Partly: documents, diagrams and the whiteboard are local. Talking to the agent needs a connection, because Claude Code and Codex call their model over the internet.
Contact and feedback
Inside the app, the "Report a problem" button shows you exactly what will be sent — your comment, screenshots and logs — before it leaves your Mac, and it only sends if you tick the consent checkbox.
