Requirements

Mac with an Apple Silicon chip (M1, M2, M3 or M4). No Intel build yet.
macOS 11 (Big Sur) or later.

How to verify the file before opening it

Before opening the .dmg, check that its SHA-256 matches the one on this page. In Terminal:

shasum -a 256 ~/Downloads/Talo-mac-arm64.dmg

Compare the result against the "SHA-256" value above, character by character.

How to open Talo for the first time

Beta builds are signed with a Developer ID certificate and notarized by Apple before shipping. macOS may take a few seconds to verify the app the first time you open it (the same Gatekeeper prompt you'd see with any signed app outside the App Store); if it's blocked outright, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click "Open Anyway" next to the notice about Talo.
